EMAS Retention Pro provides a Rules Based Engine that works behind the scenes to trigger alerts and communication plans based on changes to your student or student segment.

Retention: ActYou can communicate to students through every possible channel in EMAS Retention Pro: e-mail, text messages, phone call and letters. You simply design your communications plans to communicate what you want, when you want and how you want. Communication plans can be as simple as a one-time communication or be multi-channel with reoccurring communications.  EMAS Retention Pro even provides e-mail and letter templates to reduce formatting time.

Student segments are groups of students that are created by the institution for use within Retention Pro. These groups are created based on rules that search for students that match certain criteria which places them in a group. For example, a student segment can be created for a group of students that are all Biochemistry majors, students who commute or with specific GPA ranges.  Communication plans can be created for student segments so that these groups of students can be informed about important dates and events that are only or especially pertinent to them.

Automated CommunicationsWhen the EMAS Retention Pro user wants to send a quick communication to a student or student segment, they can do so without setting up a formal communication plan. From the student record, they can easily select the communication type and initiate the desired communication as an ad-hoc communication.

EMAS Retention Pro is designed to store an unlimited number contact types including multiple phone numbers, email addresses and physical addresses.
